The Roosevelt University College of Science, Health and Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy Program, Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences, Schaumburg, IL, is seeking a full‑time, year‑round, non‑tenure track Instructor. This 2‑year visiting faculty appointment is designed to provide training and experiences to prepare the individual for a full faculty appointment. Clinical responsibilities are consistent with experiences provided in a PGY1 residency, and teaching responsibilities include clinical precepting and didactic course assignments.

The position reports to the Academic Fellowship Director and includes teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities.

• Teach and coordinate assigned didactic courses.
• Support clinical labs and workshops.
• Provide additional teaching as assigned by the Director.
• Rotate through assigned clinical practice sites and serve as a preceptor and role model for students.
• Mentor pharmacy and medical residents.
• Engage in collaborative clinical and academic research or other scholarly activity appropriate for a non‑tenure track position.
• Provide service to the department, college, university, and community.

• Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the state of Illinois within 6 months of hiring.
• Superior clinical skills and a record of excellence in didactic and experiential teaching.
• Effective communication skills and commitment to interprofessional practice and education.
• Demonstrated interest in engaging in college and university faculty governance.

• Preceptor recommendations, PharmD transcript, and performance on APPE rotations considered.

• Record of excellence in clinical practice and academic performance.
• Experience in pharmacy or pharmacy technician work.
• Productivity in original research.
• Previous teaching experience.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 – $53,550 annually.
