Certified Wound Care Clinician – Nurse

Responsibilities

• Work with long-term care facilities in a designated territory to assist with wound assessments and treatment decisions.
• Monitor proper application and utilization of wound-care products.
• Understand Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines.
• Educate facility staff on documentation that meets federal and state requirements.
• Order wound-care products through the internal system “Fast Care” for residents to receive their products.
• Support facilities’ wound-care programs by assisting with tracking, documentation, and understanding of wound-care product coverage guidelines.

• Valid healthcare license (RN, LPN, PT, OTR‑L, DPM, or similar) preferred but could be certified in the first year of hire.
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Business savvy, sales-minded.
• Self‑starter and work independently.
• Hard‑working and motivated.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Live in the area designated and be willing to travel on a daily basis.
