Driver Recruiter

This is a full-time on-site role located in Schaumburg, IL, for a CDL A Recruiter at CB Freight INC. In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting qualified CDL A truck drivers, managing the full recruitment cycle from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. You will collaborate with the operations and HR teams, maintain an updated database of potential candidates, and utilize effective strategies to source talent.

Additional responsibilities include fostering relationships with drivers, conducting interviews, and ensuring that all recruitment processes comply with company and regulatory standards.

• Expertise in recruitment, including candidate screening, and conducting interviews
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal teams
• Knowledge of CDL A licensing requirements, transportation industry standards, and recruitment regulations
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities
• Previous experience in recruiting CDL A drivers or within the transportation/logistics industry is highly preferred
