AI Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Schaumburg, IL(Hybrid). The ideal candidate brings essential expertise in MCP setup and AWS Glue Data Quality while designing DQ rules and executing comprehensive testing across the data warehouse.

Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI Engineer job responsibilities include:

* Configure and implement MCP (Master Control Process) within the data warehouse to support automated data quality and governance workflows.

* Develop, deploy, and maintain AWS Glue Data Quality rules to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across pipelines.

* Perform end‑to‑end data quality testing in the DWH environment, including profiling, rule execution, anomaly detection, and issue tracking.

* Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and governance teams to ensure DQ standards are embedded into ETL/ELT pipelines and AI/ML data processes.

* Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot data quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement of DQ frameworks.

* Support AI and GenAI‑enabled data validation and metadata processes by integrating automated checks and enhancing data reliability for downstream analytics.

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

* 6-8 years of experience in data engineering, data quality, or cloud data platform development.

* Strong client‑required hands‑on experience setting up MCP in a data warehouse environment to support automated governance and quality processes.

* Proven expertise in creating and validating AWS Glue Data Quality rules, including rule execution, DQ testing, and troubleshooting within cloud‑based DWH systems.

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
