Role Description

Nexus Communications Technology is seeking a full-time Ubiquiti Uni Fi Systems Sales Executive specializing in bundled networking, security, and access control solutions. The role is on-site at Nexus's Schaumburg, IL location. Responsibilities include identifying and developing business leads, providing tailored solutions using Ubiquiti Uni Fi Systems, and building relationships with clients in key industries served by Nexus. The Sales Executive will also prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the role involves market analysis and identifying emerging opportunities to meet revenue goals.

Qualifications
  • Sales expertise focusing on IT solutions, including networking, security, and access control systems
  • Technical understanding of Ubiquiti Uni Fi Systems, structured network infrastructure, and PoE technologies
  • Experience in preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales for technology solutions
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to build client relationships and present solutions effectively
  • Proficiency in tools such as System Surveyor, Unifi Site Design, and AutoCAD is a plus
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop tailored IT solution strategies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Prior experience in the healthcare, hospitality, or construction industries is an advantage
