Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in: COBOL, RPG (RPG III / RPG IV), CLLE
- DB2/400 (DB2400)
- SQL Programming
- SYNON / CA 2E
- Query/400
- Deep knowledge of AS400 (IBM iSeries) architecture and environment
- Experience in application maintenance and production support
- Strong understanding of:
Job scheduling, batch processing, job queues - Experience with Change Management tools (preferred: ALDON)
- Good knowledge of FTP processes and protocols for file transfer
- Strong debugging and performance tuning capabilities in legacy systems
- Experience working in RxClaim / PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) domain.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and claims processing
- Exposure to incident/problem management tools (Service Now, Remedy, etc.)
- Knowledge of modernization approaches (Mainframe/AS400 to Cloud) is a plus.
- Provide L2/L3 production support for AS400-based applications.
- Perform incident analysis, root cause identification, and resolution.
- Work on bug fixes, minor enhancements, and code deployments
- Monitor batch jobs, interfaces, and system performance.
- Support data corrections and production issue troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, QA, Dev Ops)
- Ensure adherence to change management and release processes.
- Handle on-call support and critical production issues
- Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and support runbooks.
- Participate in continuous improvement and system stability initiatives
Salary Range: $110,000- $130,000 a year
