Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of all aspects of a Software Quality Assurance Program in the business.

• Define QA strategy, standards, approach and execution in all application development projects.
• Build, lead and direct an internal and/or offshore QA team.
• Lead interviews, onboarding, training and performance evaluation of all QA staff members.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise across the IT department in Test Automation and Quality Assurance.
• Select and implement appropriate tools to create a scalable QA organization within the business.
• Ensure the proper usage of those available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort, including testing tools for functional, performance and automation.
• Ensure that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QA strategy as defined.
• Design and implement a continuous QA improvements program, including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques and test automation.
• Monitor all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Work across the IT team to implement steps required to improve the processes.
• Gather and present testing metrics and testing activities for the projects to key stakeholders.
• Support M&A activities as requested.

• Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent experience), preferably in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or Management.
• 12+ years of software testing experience.
• Prior QA leadership experience preferred.
• Experience managing testing departments of large and complex activities and processes.
