MRSGM NA Salvage & Recovery Intern

Munich Re Specialty Global Markets North America (MRSGM N.A.) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as we grow. As part of Munich Re Group, we are a unique organization providing expertise in specialty and marine lines of insurance as well as surety risks and customs bonds with in-house claims solutions.

We are seeking a full time Summer Intern, Salvage & Recovery to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division as a hybrid employee in our Schaumburg, IL office reporting to the AVP, Recovery.

Job Profile

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, claim adjusters, and underwriters on administrative matters.
• Receive information on losses from the claim department, insured's, claimants, and/or Account Executives.
• Verify coverage verification.
• Process subrogation claims within company approved standards.
• Prepare check requests for signature by supervisor as needed.
• Maintain loss history on all accounts, updating the claim system as information becomes available.

• Provide backup for account executive and other staff as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
