Attorney – Civil Litigation (Banking & Finance) Schaumburg, IL | Lavelle Law, Ltd.
We’re seeking a dedicated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our Schaumburg team, with a focus on mortgage foreclosures, collections, and related banking/finance matters.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct thorough legal research on legal issues related to mortgage foreclosure and collections. Draft legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity. Meet with clients and develop estate planning documents to meet or exceed client needs. Represent clients' legal proceedings. Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications. Collaborate with other legal professionals to ensure comprehensive representation.
What We’re Looking For:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in Illinois. Experience in Mortgage Foreclosure and Collections. Portable book of business, a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing multiple clients' needs and matters simultaneously. Legal research skills with proficiency in tools like Lexis-Nexis. A commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development.
