Warehouse Technician Part Time

This is a part-time role so schedule may vary during regular business hours which is Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5pm. This is considered a safety sensitive position, and the candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen with includes testing for marijuana.

Under the direction of the Operations Warehouse Manager, this position handles the tasks of the warehouse and other functions as assigned to maintain efficiency within the warehouse.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Activity – Standing - Particularly for sustained periods of time. Lifting – Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.

Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers or customers accurately, loudly or quickly.

Visual Acuity - The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures or viewing a computer terminal. Visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection), using measurement devices, and/or assembly at distances close to the eyes.

Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

Conditions - The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

Finger Dexterity - Typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling. Operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a desk telephone, cellphone, copy machine, tablet and computer printer.
