Job Overview

The role of the Manager, Title Management is to manage employee performance against the Title Management product commitments and expectations within Core Fleet Registration and Truck Teams. This involves partnering with internal and external organizations to improve operations and resolve issues. The Manager interacts with clients, drivers, vendors and all Wheels personnel, overseeing the entire title process: receiving, scanning, and managing over 700,000 titles, analyzing missing items, and developing action plans for reorders.

This is a process ownership role with complete ownership of the Title Management process, which also manages all Power of Attorney affidavits from clients.

Key Responsibilities – Essential Functions
  • Support established departmental KPIs, initiatives, and project goals while monitoring progress and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide direct guidance to leadership staff through transition of process improvements.
  • Monitor department outlier reporting to further redefine processes for client satisfaction.
  • Meet with clients via phone or in‑person to establish processing protocols and support.
  • Act as focal point for the resolution of internal and external client issues.
  • Aid in maximizing revenue of L&T services and improve processes to support reductions of internal expenses.
  • Manage expenses to ensure they remain within budget.
  • Maintain high‑level communications with internal customers including Sales, Account Management, Client Services, Driver Services, and other operational teams as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and prospects on services provided by the Title Management department.
  • Manage the Title Management Program, tracking titles to receipt and coordinating with the department to ensure timely pull of titles.
  • Analyze improvements for the Title Management department and processes, including streamlining the duplicate title process.
  • Maintain current knowledge of state titling laws and requirements, and communicate updates daily to management, Wheels personnel, and clients.
  • Create and maintain a work environment that encourages teamwork, high morale, and achievement of departmental objectives.
  • Responsible for staffing specific areas of the Title Management department, including hiring, training, coaching, bi‑weekly time sheets, and all areas of performance evaluations.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations on any registration related topic to various audiences from clients to executive leadership.
Education and Experience
  • BS in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of fleet industry. Minimum of 4 years successful processing and personnel management.
