Position

Line Operator 3 – Palletizer (All Shifts) Full Time

Responsibilities
  • Stack containers or cartons of finished product on pallets following the stacking configuration from packing specifications.
  • Set up code date information for product.
  • Observe packages moving along conveyor to identify and detect defective packaging.
  • Stack the specified configuration of cartons or containers on pallets and move pallets to the pallet wrapper.
  • Wrap and create a tag for the pallet for storage.
  • Supply the line with packaging materials.
  • Stop equipment to clear jams and inform the Packaging Lead or Supervisor of equipment malfunction.
  • Keep records of production and equipment performance.
  • Verify barcodes with tally sheet; notify Lead or Supervisor of discrepancies.
  • Suggest ways to control labor and supply costs and improve processes.
  • Ensure all work activities meet the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with applicable legal and food safety requirements; focus on continuous improvement.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies; adhere to GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free workplace; report unsafe conditions to Management.
  • Accomplish all tasks as assigned; proactively identify and report hazards.
  • Gain experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), enhancing skills in quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Contribute continuous improvement ideas for operational efficiency, safety, and quality; drive sustainability through resource efficiency and recycling initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Pay rate is $23.25/hour with an additional shift premium for 2nd shift of $0.75/hour and 3rd shift of $1.25/hour.

What you’ll bring
  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required.
  • High School Diploma/GED, preferred.
  • Manufacturing or related experience preferred, especially within food manufacturing.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a production environment (manufacturing, agriculture, warehouse, industrial, military, or related).
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in accordance with safety and quality processes.
