Job Title
Basic printed circuit board assembly, rework and modification
Job DescriptionBasic printed circuit board assembly, rework and modification. Responsible for following, and using Work Instructions and Procedures. Responsible for assembling product of varying degrees of complexity. Responsible for the visual inspection of their own assembly work. Responsible for good house-keeping, safety, security, and adherence to Department policies, and procedures. Must be organized and detail oriented, with the ability to work independently, under minimal supervision.
The ability to use numerous types of equipment and assembly tools, including microscopes, soldering irons, tweezers, calipers, picks, scalpels, hot plates, epoxies, etc. Must be able to sit at a microscope for extended periods. Must be able to work closely with designers, engineers and quality personnel. Basic computer skills are required. Complete IPC certification within 3 months of hire (training will be provided), or have current certification.
Knowledge of Basic electronics a plus.
High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of relevant work experience are required for this position. The ability to demonstrate printed circuit board assembly experience to include soldering of surface mount, through-hole, and wire technology. U.S. Citizenship required as well as the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contractors.
