Position: Welder (2nd shift)

3G MIG & TIG Welder (2ND SHIFT)

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced 3G MIG & TIG Welder to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of fabrication projects in a modern manufacturing environment supporting multiple industries.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
  • Measure, mark, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and specification requirements are met
  • Perform fabrication and sheet metal work as required
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure project success
Qualifications Required
  • Ability to pass a 3G weld test
  • Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience
  • Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience
Preferred
  • Previous fabrication experience
  • Sheet metal experience
  • Welding certifications
  • Experience working with multiple welding processes
