We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Content Marketing Specialist to join our Global Marketing team on a full-time basis. This role will focus on developing and executing content marketing strategies for GUM, a global oral care brand, with a strong emphasis on delivering personalized experiences that drive brand loyalty and growth. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in content marketing and marketing automation within global organizations, and a proven ability to create impactful, tailored consumer and Oral Care Professional content that resonates across diverse international markets.

This role will report directly to the Global Brand Management Director, Oral Care.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Collaboration
  • Content Strategy Development:
    Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive global content strategy that aligns with brand objectives, customer needs, and regional market demands, with a focus on delivering personalized, relevant experiences to consumer and oral care professional audiences.
  • Content Optimization & Leveraging:
    Proactively identify, evaluate, and maximize existing content assets across all regional markets to determine their potential as global master content. Assess regional content that meets quality and brand standards to elevate and scale for organization-wide use, ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource utilization.
  • Cross-Regional

    Collaboration:

    Actively seek and nurture collaboration opportunities with regional teams to facilitate content co-creation initiatives. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across different markets to understand their unique business needs, challenges, and content requirements.
Content Production & Management
  • Marketing Technology Integration:
    Work closely with the digital and marketing automation teams to ensure content workflows are optimized and automated, delivering personalized content at scale across various channels.
  • Multi-Channel Content Production, AI-enabled:
    Oversee the production and adaptation of high-quality content across multiple platforms, including blogs, social media, email newsletters, web copy, video, and more, ensuring content consistency while catering to the universal needs of our biggest markets.
  • Content Analysis:
    Systematically identify content gaps across markets and prioritize new content creation based on strategic business impact, cost considerations, and regional priorities.
Performance & Stakeholder Management
  • Performance Optimization:
    Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of content initiatives, making adjustments and optimizations based on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure content delivers real results.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
    Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Digital, Creative, Analytics) and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across global initiatives. Demonstrate strong political acumen when navigating organizational dynamics and competing regional priorities. Guide how to incorporate personalized content strategies at every touchpoint while maintaining diplomatic relationships across diverse cultural contexts.

  • A proven record of developing and executing data-driven content strategies that drive customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Expertise in leveraging marketing technology, including AI, to deliver personalized content experiences at scale.
  • A solid understanding of SEO, Answer Engines Optimization (AEO), content performance metrics, and analytics tools to ensure continuous improvement.
