Business Development Specialist – New Business

• Support the assigned market and work closely with the office Business Development team
• Build relationships with the local BD Manager and collaborate with partners, counsel, and associates as a trusted market resource
• Assist with planning, execution, and evaluation of Business Development and Marketing initiatives and business plans
• Plan and assist with office events, cross-selling, and client-targeting initiatives for local markets
• Coordinate with BD Core, New Business, Creative, Events & Sponsor ships, Martech, Library & Research, Alumni, Brand & Communications, and Financial Information Center teams
• Deliver client intelligence, research, pitch information, event information, and lawyer materials
• Monitor office initiatives with key account clients
• Act as the go-to resource for office Business Development needs and support
• Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information

• Well-developed professional interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of three years of experience in marketing, business development, office administration, or related functions

Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills while effectively collaborating with various teams to support business development and marketing initiatives. Proven ability to manage sensitive information and deliver client intelligence in a professional environment.
