WHAT DOES A STABLE HAND DO?
The Stable Hand contributes to the overall show quality by consistently maintaining a standard of excellence by maintaining a healthy, well-groomed herd of horses and a clean, well maintained stable area to house them.
- Ensures cleanliness of stable stalls by cleaning each stall on a rotating basis as directed
- Assists with the grooming and exercising of the horses
- Ability to work with and around horses
- Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand, walk and for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
THE STARTING PAY RATE FOR THIS POSITION IS $20.33/HOUR. THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION THAT OFFER BENEFITS INCLUDING MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, AND 401K WITH COMPANY MATCH
