Position OverviewThe Clinical Supervisor (RN) leads a team of caregivers to ensure safe, high‑quality, and compassionate care in the home setting. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating patient care, maintaining compliance, and supporting clinical excellence. This role requires one year of RN experience and one year of experience working with Peds.
Key Responsibilities Care & Oversight- Develop and oversee care plans from admission to discharge
- Conduct in‑home supervisory visits and provide direct care as needed
- Ensure timely documentation and communicate care updates
- Train, mentor, and evaluate clinical staff
- Participate in hiring and performance management
- Support a positive and growth‑oriented team environment
- Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance (e.g., CHAP)
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements
- Promote safety and ethical care practices
- Participate in on‑call rotation
- Collaborate with care teams and external partners
- Maintain equipment and medical supplies
- RN License (active in applicable state)
- Associate’s, Diploma, or Bachelor’s in Nursing
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
- Clinical experience per state/federal guidelines – at least one year of experience taking care of Peds and a year as an RN
Preferred:
Home health or private duty leadership experience
- Strong clinical judgment and communication
- Leadership and team development
- Knowledge of home care regulations and documentation
Chicago IL location – In‑home visits and potential hybrid (based on branch need)
Physical & Work Requirements- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs; walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs
- Work in varied home settings; potential exposure to allergens and infectious diseases
