Role: Registered Nurse - Central Triage/Medical Group
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Responsibilities- Triages patient calls, manages health concerns, and provides education via telephone following physician protocols.
- Communicates patient messages, lab results, and telehealth reports accurately and promptly.
- Supervises Medical Assistants for prescription refills and prior authorizations.
- Performs initial patient assessments, records vital signs, and identifies urgent issues requiring immediate action.
- Instructs patients on home care preparations and documents interactions in EMR.
- Engages in patient communication to reduce unnecessary appointments and enhance satisfaction.
- Diploma in Nursing required;
Bachelor's preferred. - State licensure in Illinois.
- Minimum three years RN experience; one year in telephone triage preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and triage protocols.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
