Chicago Cardiology Institute is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Electrophysiology (EP) team serving the Schaumburg and Oak Park communities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cardiovascular APP or a new graduate with a strong cardiac background and interest in electrophysiology to build specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of heart rhythm disorders.
You'll work alongside an experienced cardiology team in a collaborative environment with the opportunity to develop your EP knowledge while maintaining a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities.

- Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular and electrophysiology conditions
- Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Participate in the ongoing management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions
- Review diagnostic testing and clinical data to support patient treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other members of the cardiovascular care team
- Educate patients regarding their diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and cardiovascular health
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Develop expertise in electrophysiology within a supportive cardiology practice
- Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active, unencumbered Illinois NP or PA license, or ability to obtain prior to start
- Previous electrophysiology or cardiology experience as an APP or Registered Nurse is preferred
- New graduates with a strong cardiac, CVICU, telemetry, electrophysiology, or cardiovascular background are encouraged to apply
