We are seeking an Accountant to support core accounting operations across manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain functions. This role plays a key part in month-end close, financial accuracy, and reporting, with exposure to cross-functional teams and opportunities to grow within a fast-moving consumer products business.
Responsibilities- Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance explanations.
- Maintain and reconcile inventory, cost of goods sold, and other manufacturing-related accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, coordinating with operations and HR to ensure accurate timekeeping and pay calculations.
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial data, inventory tracking, and production reporting.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing historical financial data and trend analysis.
- Prepare internal financial reports and schedules for leadership, auditors, and external partners as needed.
- Support fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure tracking, and depreciation schedules.
- Help document and improve accounting processes and internal controls as the business scales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ideally 1–3+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing, product-based, or inventory-driven environment.
- Experience processing payroll required.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and inventory accounting principles.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership.
