Overview
Asset Protection Coordinator helps maintain a safe, secure environment for people, customers, and assets. In this role, you support safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and partner with store leadership to reduce shrink and promote operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
- Support investigations by gathering data, conducting package checks, and responding to alarms in the Employee Service Area.
- Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
- Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and other reporting tools.
- Complete accurate and timely incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
- Assist in training store teams on asset prevention, partner with management on action plans, and connect with local law enforcement.
- 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Calm and professional approach to handling safety‑related situations.
- Strong accountability, initiative, and confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and basic computer skills (preferred).
- Comfortable using surveillance, reporting, and monitoring technologies.
This role requires continuous movement and physical labor for 6‑8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching. Responsibilities include handling merchandise and assisting customers, grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling, lifting items up to 10 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Pay Range$22.09 – $23.80 hourly (may vary by location and job‑related qualifications).
