Retail Store Manager – Schaumburg, IL
As a Store Manager, you lead a high‑performing retail team, set the tone, build teamwork, and create a human‑focused service environment. Your responsibilities include driving sales, managing store operations, coaching staff, and enhancing customer experience.
Responsibilities- Full responsibility for store performance including sales, financials, merchandising, inventory, and staffing.
- Hire, develop, and manage a team in partnership with Leadership and HR.
- Oversee daily operations to achieve revenue, productivity, and customer experience goals.
- Develop sales action plans to grow market impact and community presence.
- Analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement operational improvements.
- Plan workforce, scheduling strategy, and manage labor.
- Make independent judgments on store‑level operational and employee relations decisions.
- Collaborate with leadership for performance reporting and business insights.
- Maintain a culture of accountability, engagement, and compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in the wireless industry.
- Proven track record of leading a store and delivering strong business results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to inspire teams and engage guests.
- Solid business acumen—understanding metrics, analyzing performance, driving results.
- Experience coaching, training, and developing team members into high performers.
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel as needed.
- Ability to motivate sales representatives to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, and moving items.
- Base salary $80,000–$84,000 annually, plus monthly bonus.
