Part-Time Sales Associate

Cloud9 Cannabis is seeking part‑time Sales Associates for our dispensary in Schaumburg, IL. In addition to joining an incredible team, our team members can earn tips, an hourly rate starting at $16 per hour, weekly discounted samples valued up to $300, and a 30% employee discount.

Sales Associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, developing rapport with patients, vendors, service providers, and staff. They effectively communicate cannabis knowledge and recommend proper medicine based on individual needs.

• Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with Cloud9 standards.
• Develop and maintain rapport with patients, vendors, service providers and staff.
• Ensure patients’ concerns and questions are solved/answered promptly and efficiently, and communicate requests and problems to management when needed.
• Recommend, select, and help locate the proper medicine for patients based on their individual needs.
• Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to patients clearly and effectively.
• Ensure strict controls to protect the organization’s assets at the direction of management.
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise, and monitor floor inventory levels and participate in inventory counts.
• Maintain dispensary cleanliness (dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, sanitization).
• Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect.
• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Perform other related work as required.

• High school diploma / GED preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• Retail, cash handling and point‑of‑sale (POS) experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the cannabis industry preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to pass all required background checks as it pertains to Illinois cannabis laws.

$16 USD per hour

Tips, $16 per hour base pay, weekly discounted samples (up to $300 value), and a 30% employee discount.
