Job SummaryThe mission of the Count Room Specialist is to accurately maintain records of all transactions in and out of the office. The Count Room Specialist oversees making daily deposits, money counter operations, and preparing funds for routes. The position requires occasional holiday and weekend duties to ensure adequate customer service.
Job Responsibilities- Receive currency for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of system.
- Input transactions into spreadsheet for reconciliation.
- Balance funds and calculate daily transactions.
- Utilize route information to prepare funds for the next day.
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
Qualifications and Experience- Proficient in the use of Excel.
- Clean background.
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and across departments.
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is loud.
