Outside Sales Representative - Food Industry; Entry-Level, Spanish Speaker

Nippon Shokken U.S.A., “the No.1 sauce company in Japan,” is hiring an Outside Sales Representative in Schaumburg, IL. Base salary of $58,848 plus performance incentives (~6% of salary), and comprehensive benefits worth an additional 8% of salary on average.

This position involves 80% travel within the Chicago-area territory and 20% office work. You will build relationships with new and existing customers, introduce premium sauces and seasonings, and expand our presence beyond the traditional Asian customer base.

• Report to the Chicago office each morning to plan your day and coordinate appointments.
• Visit clients in your territory to maintain and develop business relationships.
• Prepare sales contracts and process orders.
• Track sales data and performance in our CRM system.
• Meet or exceed sales targets with support from an experienced team.
• Business travel assigned as needed (at least 10 days per month).
• Conduct cooking demonstrations to showcase our products.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
• Comfortable with 80% travel within the Chicago area and neighboring states.
• Able to lift 40+ lbs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Coachable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal); fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Preferred: sales experience in the food industry.
