Role Description

The Sales Representative – Western Suburbs is a full‑time role, serving accounts across the western suburbs of the Greater Chicagoland Area. This role involves managing and growing territory sales by regularly visiting physician offices, clinics, and hospitals, presenting product solutions, and demonstrating how hardware, specialty products, wound care solutions, and biologics can support improved patient outcomes. The Sales Representative will build and maintain relationships with surgeons and other healthcare professionals, provide product education and support in collaboration with manufacturers, and respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests.

Daily activities include prospecting new accounts, following up on leads, coordinating product trials, maintaining accurate records in a CRM or similar system, and preparing sales reports and forecasts. The role also includes attending relevant trainings, conferences, and meetings to stay current on clinical trends, product updates, and competitive offerings, while working collaboratively with internal and external partners to drive territory growth.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, including strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Minimum two years experience in orthopedic or foot & ankle device sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong territory management capabilities, including planning, prioritization, time management, and use of CRM or similar tools to document activities and outcomes.
  • Ability to understand and explain clinical concepts, product features, and benefits, and to tailor solutions to the specific needs of physicians and their patients.
  • Comfort working in surgical, hospital, and clinical environments, with a focus on professional conduct, regulatory awareness, and ethical sales practices.
  • Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to operate independently in the field while collaborating effectively with internal teams and manufacturer partners.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation for regular field travel, and willingness to work.
