Position: New Car Sales Manager

Steve Napleton Auto Group Love Where You Work

Drive new vehicle sales performance at Napleton's Schaumburg Buick GMC. We're looking for a motivated sales leader with a proven track record of developing salespeople, hitting volume targets, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the new car sales floor
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Work deals, structure transactions, and maximize front-end gross
  • Monitor and achieve monthly new vehicle sales volume targets
  • Manage new vehicle inventory levels, turn, and lot organization
  • Analyze sales reports and adjust strategies to hit objectives
  • Ensure all sales processes comply with manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Maintain high CSI scores through a customer-first culture
  • Collaborate with the Finance department to maximize deal profitability
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience as a New Car Sales Manager or Sales Director at a franchise dealership
  • Strong knowledge of Buick/GMC vehicles and trim levels (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK DMS
  • Experience with GM inventory management and factory incentive programs
  • Track record of developing salespeople and promoting from within
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years in automotive sales management
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to work a retail schedule including Saturdays

Additional Information

Compensation is a base salary plus a performance bonus structure tied to new vehicle gross profit and monthly volume objectives.
