Account Manager – Japanese Bilingual

Position Summary

We are seeking an Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with existing customers while coordinating closely with internal teams. This position will serve as a key point of contact for customers, support technical and commercial discussions, prepare quotations, and ensure smooth order and delivery processes.

The role is primarily focused on existing account management rather than new business development and is ideal for someone who enjoys building long‑term customer relationships while handling detailed sales and account coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Serve as a primary customer contact and facilitate commercial and technical discussions with internal teams.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate customer orders, deliveries, and related transactions.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information using Excel and company systems.
• Monitor account activity, customer needs, and payment status, and provide regular updates to management.
• Support new sales opportunities and other sales activities as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related customer‑facing role preferred.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• English at an idiomatic level is required. Japanese communication skills is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer relationship management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with detailed data and internal systems.
• Experience in metals, materials, semiconductor, electronic components, automotive, or other manufacturing‑related industries preferred; other industry backgrounds may also be considered.
• Must be able to travel up to 20%
