Position: Account Manager
Industry: Industrial materials manufacturer
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Salary: 55-85K/year (DOE)
Status: Full Time/Direct Hire

Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through responsive and professional service
- Achieve or surpass assigned sales goals and performance objectives.
- Prepare and provide accurate, timely pricing and quotations based on customer requirements
- Coordinate with internal departments to support efficient order processing, delivery, and customer transactions
- Keep customer information, sales activities, and communication records current in internal systems
- Provide regular updates to management regarding sales performance, customer needs, and market opportunities
- Expand business opportunities by developing and maintaining a network of contacts and potential leads
- Track customer payment status and work with the finance team to support timely collections
- Background in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles
- College degree is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Confident in customer discussions and commercial negotiations
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and business software
- Self-motivated and effective in a multicultural work environment
- Familiarity with Japanese business practices is preferred
- Japanese proficiency is a plus
