We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to manage and secure our network infrastructure. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal performance, implementing robust security measures, and driving continuous improvements to support business operations.
JOB SUMMARYThis position reports to the Technical Services Manager and has primary responsibility for the administration of the network infrastructure and network security. This position is responsible for evaluating the current network infrastructure, maintaining all networking components to ensure optimal efficiency and performance, and recommending and implementing improvements. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the appropriate network security protocols, configurations, and processes to protect from internal and external threats.
The position typically involves regular shifts with weekends off. The position is a natural escalation point for on-call technicians; as a result, occasional off-hour calls are to be expected. Several network components will require after-hours updates and maintenance, with a monthly maintenance window outside of normal working hours.
