Overview
Mazak Corporation is looking for a Field Service Install Coordinator to join the Service team. This position will coordinate all aspects of new machine installations and large machine relocations. Communicates with customers and other stakeholders and ensures exceptional service support is provided in accordance with corporate metrics and guidelines.
Scope and ResponsibilitiesEssential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Reviews each machine acknowledgement, identifies open ERs, accessories, and expedites as required.
- Researches power, air and all other technical aspects of each machine to be installed and prepares preinstall customer checklist and associated documents.
- Organizes customer pre-installation meeting and ensures resulting action list is completed by all stakeholders.
- Distributes preinstall checklist and obtains customer confirmation and sign back.
- Tracks machine and option completion and any department 9 deliverables.
- Coordinates with KY Traffic, customer, freight company, rigger, service team leader & applications.
- Maintains a high degree of customer satisfaction and adheres to service management principles.
- Utilizes excellent call center / customer relationship skillset.
- Proactively determines the need for specialty tools, lifting equipment, personnel lifts, etc., and ensures these items are available when Field Service Technicians arrive on site.
- In some regions this position may be combined with other roles such as Technology Center facilities administrator.
2 Year Technical Degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Skills- Project Management / high activity scheduling experience
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
Pay range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 annually.
