Union Pacific Railroad is seeking an Apprentice Diesel Electrician in Melrose Park, IL to train in inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical components on diesel-electrical locomotives under a journeyman’s guidance.
You will perform electrical inspections, diagnose issues, and complete maintenance in locomotive shops while following safety and FRA regulations. Strong reading and communication skills, and willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and outdoor conditions are required.
