HVAC Service Technician

Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to support commercial and industrial customers across North America. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain complex HVAC-R and energy optimization systems with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency. You'll perform troubleshooting, startup, and commissioning, document all service activities, and communicate clearly with customers. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on commercial and industrial HVAC systems
• Troubleshoot refrigeration and energy optimization systems to ensure peak performance
• Complete startup, commissioning, and testing of new and retrofit HVAC-R equipment
• Follow Cool
• Sys safety standards, codes, and best practices on every job site
• Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service tickets
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with team members and technical support for complex issues
• Participate in on-call rotations, emergency response, and scheduled maintenance routes
• Use advanced tools and controls to improve system efficiency and reliability
• Support training, mentoring, and continuous improvement of field service practices
