Dock and Door Service Technician

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair, and install dock and door equipment
• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment
• Perform welding
• Maintain a service van and its inventory
• Process paperwork after completing each job

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
• Technical school graduate preferred
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Welding experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiarity with common hand tools and equipment

Demonstrates mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair dock and door equipment. Proficient in welding and familiar with hydraulic and electrical schematics, ensuring effective maintenance and customer service.
