Department Overview  Our RF Site Software Engineering organization, a key component of the ASTRO Networks business segment at Motorola Solutions, consists of a diverse group of software engineers, product architects, system architects, and test engineers. We are situated across various global locations, working collaboratively to develop next-generation RF Site solutions.
Leveraging the latest in virtualization technologies on a robust Linux platform, our team follows modern software development practices such as continuous integration/continuous deployment, Dev Ops, component-level and system-level automated testing. We use Agile methodologies to organize our work and we are responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle.##

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated candidate. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring mission-critical quality in our products. Your tasks will include:
* Ensuring the availability and reliability of test lab resources.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test scenarios and cases.
* Promoting and implementing continuous integration practices, ensuring seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle.
* Preparing and presenting comprehensive test reports, highlighting test coverage, defects, and risks.
* Providing feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and testability of software designs.
* Setup and maintenance of lab equipment, including RF sites, routers, servers
* Leading creation and execution of test plans and scripts for project-based, new software rollout in close collaboration with architects and developers
* Maintaining test automation frameworks
* Triaging software problems prior to production rollouts
* Participating in reviews of architectural and design requirements to ensure testability and identify potential risks or issues.
* Developing test plan/schedule and maintaining test matrix based on development
* Using tools such as Quality Center or Test Rail to track the progress of test case development and execution
* Occasional assignments in software product development using agile methodologies.
* Experience in creating and executing test plans, and in developing and maintaining test infrastructure.
* Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, bash, etc.).
* Aptitude for independently learning new technologies.
* Comfortable and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
