Developer, Cloud Engineer - Software, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Schaumburg, IL. Candidates must have strong Python and Lambda expertise while developing API integrations and implementing Dynamo

DB data models.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and maintain serverless backend services using Python and AWS Lambda to support core business and integration workflows.
• Design and implement Dynamo
  
  DB data models, performing CRUD operations and optimizing data access patterns.
• Build and manage API integrations using AWS API Gateway, including authentication, routing, and event triggers.
• Develop event‑driven architectures leveraging SNS, Cloud Watch Events, and other AWS messaging services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver secure, scalable integration solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD automation, maintain documentation, and support deployment and operational monitoring of serverless applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in backend development and AWS serverless integrations.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Python development with AWS Lambda, including building backend services, API integrations, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven experience with Dynamo
  
  DB data modeling and CRUD operations, along with working knowledge of SNS, Cloud Watch Events, and API Gateway.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
