Must-Have Technical Skills- COBOL, RPG III / RPG IV, CLLE
- DB2/400 (DB2400)
- SQL Programming
- SYNON / CA 2E
- Query/400
- Strong knowledge of AS400 / IBM iSeries architecture
- Application Maintenance & Production Support
- Job Scheduling, Batch Processing & Job Queues
- Spool Files, Debugging & System Logs
- ALDON / Change Management Tools
- FTP Processes & File Transfer Protocols
- Legacy System Debugging & Performance Tuning
- RxClaim / PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) experience
- Healthcare / Claims Processing experience
- Service Now / Remedy / Incident Management tools
- Mainframe / AS400 to Cloud modernization experience
- Provide L2/L3 production support for AS400-based applications
- Perform incident analysis, root-cause identification, and resolution
- Handle bug fixes, minor enhancements, and code deployments
- Monitor batch jobs, interfaces, and system performance
- Support data corrections and production troubleshooting
- Collaborate with Business, QA, Dev Ops, and cross-functional teams
- Follow change management and release processes
- Handle on-call support and critical production issues
- Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and support runbooks
- Participate in continuous improvement and system stability initiatives
