Production Support

MDM Entertainment is looking for a personable, hard-working and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Production Support team member in our Schaumburg warehouse to assist in the preparation, packing and unpacking of audio visual, lighting and décor equipment.

Any experience in audio-visual fields, event work, driving/delivery, and warehouse work is a plus!

Travel to and from event locations throughout Chicago and the suburbs from our Schaumburg office is required.

This job requires physical labor including the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and vans.

• Pack and unpack audio visual, lighting, and décor equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading of equipment onto trucks for transport to events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and equipment
• Assist with inventory management and tracking of equipment
• Receive packages and shipments
• Perform equipment maintenance and repairs as needed
• Pickup and return all rental equipment and vehicles

• Prior experience in event production and/or a warehouse environment
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet deadlines
• Be punctual and dependable
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to work at heights and on ladders
• A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, valid auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• Comfortable driving vans and box trucks
• Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Pay:
Begins at $18.00/hr.
