Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Safety Manager to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for ensuring full adherence to FMCSA, DOT, and state-level regulations while supporting a high-performance fleet operating specialized and high-value freight.

Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $70,000-$80,000/year
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • Full time schedule
  • Located in Schaumburg, Illinois
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Driver Qualification File Management — Maintain complete and compliant DQF records for all drivers.
  • IRP Management — Oversee IRP registration, renewals, and plate management.
  • IFTA Filing — Prepare and submit quarterly IFTA reports.
  • Permit Administration — Manage permits for OR, CT, NY, NM, and other states as required.
  • Hiring & Onboarding — Support the driver hiring process, including screenings and qualification checks.
  • Maintenance Record Oversight — Ensure accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and PM schedules.
  • Claims & Accident Management — Coordinate accident reporting, insurance claims, and follow-up investigations.
  • DataQ Challenges — Submit and track DataQ requests for inspection or violation corrections.
  • Employment Verification — Complete and document all required verifications.
  • Annual Reviews & Clearinghouse — Conduct annual driver reviews and Clearinghouse queries.
  • Random Drug & Alcohol Testing — Administer and track random testing pools and compliance.
  • Tenstreet Administration — Manage driver applications, workflows, and compliance tasks.
  • Driver Training — Deliver or coordinate ongoing safety and compliance training.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT requirements, and safety compliance standards.
  • Experience in trucking, logistics, or fleet operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple compliance programs with accuracy and urgency.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with systems such as Tenstreet, ELD platforms, and safety management tools is a plus.
