Dispatch Manager

A growing freight and logistics company based in Schaumburg, IL is seeking experienced Dispatch Managers to oversee Flatbed and Reefer operations. This is a full-time, in-office leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced transportation environment and has a strong background managing drivers, freight operations, and customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on dispatch experience, strong operational leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage time-sensitive freight while maintaining excellent service levels.

• Coordinate and manage daily Flatbed and Reefer dispatch operations
• Schedule and oversee timely pickups and deliveries
• Communicate effectively with drivers, brokers, and customers
• Monitor load status and resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently
• Ensure proper cargo securement and compliance for Flatbed loads
• Support driver performance, routing, and operational planning
• Maintain strong customer service and professional communication
• Assist with load planning, problem resolution, and daily dispatch support
• Work collaboratively with operations and leadership teams to ensure smooth freight movement

• Previous experience in Flatbed and/or Reefer dispatch operations required
• Strong knowledge of OTR trucking operations and freight coordination
• Experience with cargo securement and Flatbed freight preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and make quick operational decisions under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
