CDL A Dedicated Local Truck Driver
Job Type: Driving
Polaris Freightways is hiring CDL-A drivers for a dedicated local account based in Chicago, Illinois. This home-daily position offers consistent routes, all year round consistent work, primarily drop-and-hook freight, and automatic top-of-the-line equipment.
- Dedicated Target account
- Local routes with a maximum round trip of 91 miles
- CPM-based pay with bonus opportunities
- Automatic-transmission trucks
- 53-foot trailers
Drivers work six days followed by a 34-hour reset.
Experience RequirementsApplicants must have a valid Class A CDL and meet one of the following experience standards:
- At least three months of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past 12 months
- Qualifying tractor-trailer experience within the past 10 years, with time actively driving equal to or greater than time away from driving
- Anility to meet DOT and company hiring standards
