Dietary Assistant, Inpatient Facility - PER DIEM

Per Diem Dietary Assistant

Conifer Park is looking for Per Diem Dietary Assistants to join our team in Glenville, NY. The Dietary assistant will be responsible for:
Appropriately setting up food service stations and sanitation stations in both kitchen and Dining Room; ensuring stock is stored under proper conditions; cleaning, rotating and organizing storage areas; assembling and delivering supplies/trays to admissions, crisis unit and patient care units as needed; following labeling and dating procedures; adhering to portion control guidelines; using appropriate serving utensils; satisfactorily completing and signing off on all designated assignments on a daily basis;

utilizing, cleaning and maintaining 3 compartment sink/dish machine ensuring all items are cleaned, sanitized, dried and stored properly; setting up, breaking down and cleaning for special functions as needed; assisting other Dietary Staff as needed or directed, employees are expected to use teamwork to accomplish tasks; assisting in the orientation and training of new hires; other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred; experience in food service and/or food preparation; vocational/technical school in a related field;
