Office Cleaner / Janitor

The Office Cleaner / Janitor will be responsible for traveling between 8 buildings within Corporations Park. This is a full-time, non-union position. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day (12pm-8:30pm), with overtime, as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Must understand the company's commitment to food safety, quality, and continuous improvement as outlined in the Adirondack Beverages Safety and Quality Policy and understand the responsibility for carrying out the outlined principles as an expectation of the job.
• Follow direction of the Supervisor or Manager.
• Able to adhere to and follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• To be responsible for any tools, such as cleaning supplies, chemicals etc. that are provided. Each employee will be held accountable for these.
• Always wear proper protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals.
• To promote cleanliness in all areas in accordance with specific assignments for the shift:
• Garbage and recyclable containers should be emptied regularly
• Empty outside garbage containers as necessary
• Floors should be vacuumed and/or scrubbed as necessary
• Ensure that the entrances, hallways, offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms and common areas are clean

Requirements to meet the physical demands of the job including:

• Employee must be capable of working a 10-hour day.
• Employee must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must frequently use hand(s) for repetitive movement single grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
• Must frequently bend, twist, squat, climb, and reach.
• Must perform light work, lifting up to 50 lbs.
