We are searching for a full-time Senior Accountant to join our Client Accounting & Advisory Services department. This role will be based in Schiller Park and Naperville supporting several clients.

Lauterbach & Amen is committed to offering compensation that is fair, transparent, and competitive. The anticipated, average salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000, with the final offer determined based on business-related factors such as geographic location, relevant experience, education, skill set, and professional certifications. As part of our compensation philosophy, offers are typically not made at the top of the range to allow room for future growth and salary progression over time.
EssentialJob Duties
- Prepare general ledger entries
- Perform and complete complex bank reconciliations
- Assist with preparing financial statements
- Prepare government-required reports
- Advise clients on internal accounting matters
- Assist with Audit preparation
- Complete appropriate compliance reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA or actively pursuing a license
- 3-10 years of general accounting experience required
- Must have experience in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize as needed
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Highly motivated, self-starter
