Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of sourcing professionals within the logistics domain.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution services.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities, manage supplier negotiations, and implement best practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand supply chain needs and drive sourcing initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance, track KPIs, and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Analyze market trends, assess risks, and provide recommendations to optimize logistics sourcing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of strategic sourcing experience in logistics; prior leadership experience required.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple suppliers and high-value contracts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
