As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and promoting a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in pre-construction processes, including site visits to identify best construction routes with clients, identify risks, determine construction methodology and schedules.
  • Participate in estimating meetings providing rates of construction for activities involved in high voltage transmission projects.
  • Support estimating activities by providing feedback on manpower, equipment, and resources required to complete large projects.
  • Supervise and assist Superintendents, General Foremen, and Foremen to schedule work, crews, tools and equipment for efficiency and to minimize travel time.
  • Work with Professional Engineers (PEs) and Project Managers (PMs) to update schedules.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of 7 years working on construction electrical projects
  • OSHA-30 or other safety training
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IBC
  • Skilled in reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams, with the ability to adjust or refine them for improved efficiency
  • Valid driver’s license appropriate to vehicle types and acceptable driving record
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Prior electrical experience in heavy industrial or oil & gas industries
