  • Be accomplished on both the organ and the piano.
  • Be a trained vocalist with the ability to sing in English, Spanish, and Latin.
  • Direct and develop parish choirs and musicians, including regular rehearsals and formation.
  • Hold regular rehearsals for each choir led and ensure all choir members receive line‑up sheets and are well‑prepared.
  • Recruit, train, and support parish cantors and accompanists.
  • Provide vocal coaching and teach basic music theory.
  • Collaborate with clergy and liturgical teams to ensure music aligns with liturgical seasons and themes.
  • Supervise and support two existing musicians.
  • Generate and share music selections for all liturgies with lead musicians one month in advance.
  • Select appropriate music for school Masses and be available to provide music rick (1st and 3rd Thursdays) and Our Lady of Humility (Fridays) when school is in session.
  • Contact and schedule meetings with wedding couples and Quinceañera families to help select music.
  • Work with the bereavement team to approve music selections and answer questions.
  • Maintain and organize music resources, instruments, and equipment.

  • Create worship aids and presider scripts in a timely fashion.
  • Attend monthly Music/Liturgy meetings.
  • Collaborate with the St. Patrick School music program as appropriate.
  • Recruit and develop new choir members, cantors, and volunteers able to serve at either location.
  • Ensure consistent communication and volunteer management across both campuses, including practice recordings, music distribution, and recognition.
  • Work with guest musicians and vocalists to help them perform at their best.
