The qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to support the area to which they are assigned.
Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Requires organizational, clerical, and technical skills, including data entry, scheduling, and operation of commonly used office equipment.
- Knowledge of Google Suites and proficiency in word processing.
- Basic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to collaborate with staff members and students.
- Some positions may require an ELS(PARA) license (ISBE registered in DuPage Co), a valid driver’s license, or musical accompaniment skill.
- Assist teachers with instructional and classroom management, including but not limited to attendance, inventory, lab scheduling, and grading records.
- Responsible for student supervision.
- Assist or coordinate mandated school testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys, and electronic media.
- Ability to write professional communications.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to respond to questions from individuals and groups.
- Basic mathematics skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle varying situations with limited standardization.
- Ongoing maintenance of current job skills, especially in technology.
- Awareness of district requirements and School Board policies.
- Employees must meet the physical demands described, with reasonable accommodations for disabilities allowed.
- Regular sitting and talking or hearing required.
- Frequent standing, walking, operating duplicating machines and computer equipment; reaching with hands and arms; repetitive motions such as typing.
- Visual demands include near vision, focusing adjustments, and long-term use of VDTs.
- Occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
- Moderate noise level.
- Fast-paced work.
- Primarily one job site, but may attend meetings, conferences, or workshops at other locations.
