North America Test Engineering Manager

* Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive test engineering strategy aligned with overall business objectives and product roadmaps.
* Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Test Engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high productivity. This includes hiring, training, performance reviews, and career pathing.
* Test Process Management:
Oversee the entire product testing lifecycle, from requirements analysis and test plan creation to execution, defect tracking, and reporting.

* Collaboration:

Work closely with R&D, design, and manufacturing teams to integrate testing activities seamlessly into the product development process.
* Resource Management:
Allocate and manage testing resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to optimize project timelines and costs.
* Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain high standards for product quality and reliability through effective testing methodologies.

* Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate potential testing risks and challenges.
* Reporting:
Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress, issues, and overall product quality to senior management.
* Coordinates resources and tasks to meet overall group objectives and priorities.
* Monitors achievements and costs, and removes barriers to group’s success.
* Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication and timely completion.
* Develops and maintains detailed project schedules and milestones**.
*** Strong background in Lab View Development Experience.
* In-depth Knowledge in Hardware and RF testing principles and applications.
* Extensive Programming experience in C, C#, and C++.
* Proven experience in managing and leading technical teams.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with various testing methodologies (e.g., agile, waterfall) and test automation frameworks.
* Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Minimum of X years of experience in test engineering, with X years in a leadership or management role. (Please insert specific numbers for X)
* Demonstrated experience with product development life cycles and quality assurance processes resources to ensure on-time and within-budget project completion. Key responsibilities include managing test environments and tools, improving test processes, and providing technical leadership and mentorship.
